Located at Summit Academy in Amherst, this "Imagined Worlds" mural welcomes the school community every day above the main hallway of the school. The design for the mural was inspired by a piece by Sharona Color and voted on by the students. We plan to return to Summit Academy in the 2025-2026 school year giving us a three year arc to our Imagined Worlds project and creating impactful relationships with this small group of students.
COMMUNITY PAINT PARTY
Students, teachers, and staff from the Mead Art Museum joined us in a vibrant community paint party, laying the foundation for the mural. With brushes in hand, attendees became co-creators, setting the stage before our artists added the final masterful touches in the studio. A truly collaborative burst of color and creativity!
